Silcatil in the form of socks filled with an active liquid is a safe and extremely simple pedicure procedure to be performed at home.
Composition:
Silcatil socks contain extremely effective hydroxy acids that dissolve the bonds between epidermal cells - hence their exfoliating effect.
Glycolic acid and lactic acid - have strong exfoliating properties - weaken the bonds between keratinocytes, thus reducing the thickness of the hypertrophied horny layer of the epidermis. Moreover, they make the epidermis more permeable and support the dynamics of penetration of active substances through the epidermis. Glycolic acid is the acid with the smallest molecule and the longest chain, which in practice causes its strong penetration into the skin. Additionally, it also stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin.
Salicylic acid - regulates skin cell renewal and exfoliates the thickened stratum corneum. Additionally, it increases the effectiveness of other cosmetic preparations. Skin prepared with acids - after exfoliation, elimination of thickenings and calluses and revealing a new epidermis, it absorbs the active ingredients contained in cosmetics much better.
Urea - is a component of the NMF (Natural Moisturing Factor) - a natural moisturizing factor. In the right concentration, it has a high ability to bind water in skin cells - hence its excellent moisturizing effect.

Intense exfoliation
The exfoliation process is a natural mechanism of the skin, which thus sheds dead, calloused cells. Vegetable acids - glycolic, salicylic, lactic, have keratolytic properties, intensely soften the skin and remove dead epidermis. By dissolving the bonds between the cells of the epidermis - they cause intense exfoliation. Of the hydroxy acids present in the composition - glycolic acid has the smallest molecule, which makes it easier to penetrate into the skin.
In combination with the duration of the treatment (approx. 2 hours), the active ingredients penetrate into the deeper layers of the epidermis, loosening the bonds between cells there. This can cause the skin to peel off in flaps as several levels of cells, visible as a flap, peel off from the stratum corneum. As a result, all corns, thickenings and calluses are removed, revealing a new, silky-smooth epidermis.
Deep hydration
Urea binds water in the deeper layers of the skin, providing extreme hydration. In addition, it naturally stimulates the renewal of the epidermis and accelerates the removal of dead cells. As a result - the skin becomes soft and smooth.

Callous, rough skin on the feet with calluses.
Use:
Cut the socks along the perforation. Put socks on washed and dried feet, taking care not to spill the liquid in them. Adjust the socks to the size of the foot with the adhesive strip provided with them. For better effect and comfort, wear additional cotton socks. Leave the socks on the feet for about 120 minutes, then take off, wash off the excess liquid and dry the feet with a dry towel.
The socks are approx. 30 cm and fit foot sizes up to 45.
The product is intended for single use.

The effects of the treatment may depend on the condition of the skin on the feet. The exfoliation process begins about 5-6 days after the treatment and can last for about 2 weeks. Its intensity is individual and depends on the initial condition of the skin. It can also take many forms - from delicate peeling to the skin peeling off whole patches. If you need to achieve a stronger exfoliation effect, you can apply the product again 2 weeks after the first application.
