The preparation contains biotin, which is a water-soluble vitamin, belonging to the B group of vitamins. Biotin supports the processes of keratin formation and differentiation of epidermal cells as well as hair and nails, improving their condition.

Biotynox is an OTC drug belonging to the group of vitamin preparations. The composition includes biotin, which is a water-soluble vitamin, belonging to the B group of vitamins. Biotin supports the processes of keratin formation and differentiation of epidermal cells as well as hair and nails, improving their condition.
Composition:
The active substance in Biotynox is biotin. One tablet contains 5 mg of biotin (Biotinum). The other ingredients are: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, crospovidone type A, croscarmellose sodium, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
Recommended intake:
Biotynox 5mg should always be used as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Before the first use, consult your doctor.
The recommended starting dose is 5 mg daily for 4 weeks or, in case of severe symptoms, 10 mg daily for 4 weeks, then the dose may be reduced to 5 mg daily. Taken orally with a glass of water. Do not use in children under 12 years of age. In children over 12 years of age, use is possible under the supervision of a doctor.
