Curcuma longa is a plant from the Imbrowatych family. The raw material is turmeric rhizome (turmeric long) containing a mixture of yellow dyes (curcuminoids) including the main compound curcumin. Curcumin content in turmeric is 3-5%.
Curcumin has a choleretic effect, supports inflammation and has antioxidant properties. Turmeric rhizome is cholagogic and choleretic, it stimulates the liver flesh and increases the production of bile acids. It is also anti-inflammatory and bactericidal against bacteria in the bile and gastrointestinal tract.
RECOMMENDED CONSUMPTION
Two capsules daily with a meal
