Properties and justification for use as a s.p.m. in patients (dietary indications): Femaltiker plus is a product intended for special nutrition for lactating women, especially at the initial stage and in problems related to its maintenance. The product provides special nutrients that are necessary for the proper nourishment of the nursing woman's body, which contributes to the proper initiation and maintenance of lactation. The barley malt in Femaltiker® plus is briefly malted to provide as many nutrients as possible. During the malting process, the bioavailability of proteins and carbohydrates contained in barley malt increases, at the same time facilitating the effect of beta-glucan on the woman's body. Only such a special formula and its appropriate technological preparation allow to obtain barley malt with a more digestible and accessible, and thus richer, nutritional composition.

The formula contained in Femaltiker® plus has been additionally enriched with choline and such nutrients as: folates (folic acid and calcium L-methylfolate - FolActiv®), vitamins: B6 and B12, which nourish the woman's body. Most of these ingredients pass into breast milk, affecting its quality and nutritional value.

The use of a malted barley product is mentioned as an example of good dietary practice supporting lactation. The barley malt contained in Femaltiker was included in the protocol of dietary management in the stimulation of lactation in the case of a real shortage of nutrition in the mother confirmed by a specialist.

Application
For the dietary management of breastfeeding women in the case of:
- a real food shortage
- problems inducing or maintaining lactation
- low weight gain of a child related to insufficient amount of food and / or its too low nutritional value caused by poor nutritional status of a nursing woman.

Composition
Femaltiker formula (barley malt, barley beta-glucan, Melissa officinalis dry extract), choline bitartrate, natural flavor - chocolate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, calcium L-methylfolate, pteroylmonoglutamic acid, cyanocobalamin.

Recommended intake
Consume according to the schedule recommended by your lactation doctor / specialist or, unless your lactation doctor / specialist recommends otherwise, 1-2 servings daily during a meal. Due to the mechanism of action, it is recommended to consume Femaltiker® plus 30 minutes to 1 hour before the planned feeding / pumping. The product has a chocolate flavor. Wash your hands before preparing the solution. Use clean utensils. Add the prescribed amount of powder from the sachet of the glass or cup. The contents of the sachet should be dissolved in approx. 150 ml of milk (cold or warm) and mixed thoroughly. Stir until the powder is completely dissolved. The method of use of the product is adapted to the individual nutritional requirements of a nursing woman: in the case of allergy or intolerance to cow's milk, other types of plant drinks can be used, i.e. barley, soy, rice, oat, spelled or possibly water. The preparation can also be mixed with natural or flavored yoghurt. An additive to be eaten with various types of dishes or meals. It is recommended to start using the preparation from the second day after delivery. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
