PROSTAMOL UNO is a drug that relieves symptoms associated with prostate enlargement occurring when urinating, such as: weak urine stream, urgency, pollakiuria, frequent urination at night.
PROSTAMOL UNO is used in the treatment of urination disorders occurring in the initial stage of benign prostatic hyperplasia.
The ingredients of Sabalis serrulata fruit extract show anti-androgenic properties. They inactivate 5-alpha reductase catalyzing the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone and inhibit the activity of aromatase, which is involved in the conversion of testosterone to estrogen. The preparation also has anti-exudative and anti-inflammatory properties. It lowers the tension of the muscles and smooth urinary tract, reducing swelling, congestion in the bladder neck, improving the elasticity of the tissue, prostate gland and bladder patency.
Dosage:
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is 1 capsule a day. The capsules should be taken at the same time each day after a meal. The capsules should be swallowed whole with a sufficient amount of liquid. Regular intake of PROSTAMOL UNO is particularly important for the effectiveness of treatment.
