Hylo Dual Intense is a sterile eye drop solution with no added preservatives. Intended for intensive, therapeutic moisturizing of dry eyes and stabilization of the tear film. It reduces inflammation such as burning and itchy eyes. Contains hyaluronic acid sodium salt, a natural substance that is a component of many organs of the human body, including the eye. Hyaluronic acid creates a stable, evenly distributed tear film on the eye that lasts a long time and is resistant to rinsing. It protects the conjunctiva and the cornea of the eye and covers its surface along with physiological tears. More sodium hyaluronate makes Hylo Dual Intense drops more sticky, so they provide more intense relief and hydration that lasts longer. As a result, chronic or more severe symptoms disappear and the eye is protected against further irritation. Ectoine is a natural substance obtained from microorganisms that live in extreme conditions (e.g. in salt lakes). These microorganisms produce it in order to survive in unfavorable surroundings. Ectoine increases the water-binding capacity of the eye's surface structures, creating a physiological barrier on the surface of the conjunctiva. At the same time, it also stabilizes the fat-soluble tear film layer, which inhibits excessive evaporation of tears.
The combination of sodium hyaluronate and ectoine makes the Hylo Dual Intense drops long-lasting and intensive moisturize the eyes, while providing protection against excessive, harmful evaporation of tears. They alleviate the typical symptoms of inflammatory reactions (itching and burning) caused by environmental factors.
Application
Intensive, curative moisturizing of dry eyes and stabilization of the tear film, to reduce inflammatory and allergic symptoms such as burning and itchy eyes.
For adults and children over 6 years old.
Usage method
The drops should be dosed individually as recommended by an ophthalmologist.
Adults and children over 6 years of age: usually 1 drop is applied 3 times a day to each conjunctival sac.
Drops are suitable for long-term treatment. However, an ophthalmologist should be consulted if the symptoms persist within two weeks.
If you use Hylo Dual Intense more often (e.g. more than 10 times a day) or with more severe symptoms, you should undergo regular eye examinations.
Each time before use, remove the cap from the dispenser. To do this, grab the cap with one hand just above the bottle, and with the other, rotate the bottle out of the cap. Before the first use, the bottle with the dropper should be placed vertically downwards and firmly pressed several times on the bottom of the bottle until the first drops of the solution appear.
Holding the bottle with the dropper down, rest your thumb on the top of the bottle and your index and middle fingers on the bottom of the bottle.
Rest the hand with the bottle on the other hand (as shown in Fig. 4 in the package insert).
Gently tilt your head back, pull down the lower eyelid with your free hand, then press firmly on the bottom of the bottle. 1 dot of the solution will be put into your eye. Thanks to the unique valve technique of the COMOD system, the drop size and the speed of its administration will always be the same, regardless of the pressure on the bottom.
After instillation, slowly close the eyelid, allowing the solution to spread evenly over the surface

There are no controlled clinical data on the use of Hylo Dual Intense during pregnancy and lactation. According to the existing knowledge, the product can be used in children after 6 years of age and during pregnancy and lactation.
During pregnancy and lactation, and in children under 12, the product should not be used more than 10 times a day.
In case of additional treatment with other eye drops, there should be a 30-minute interval. Hylo-Dual Intense should be used last.
Eye ointments should be administered after instillation of Hylo Dual Intense.
Due to the fact that Hylo Dual Intense does not contain preservatives, it is usually well tolerated even with prolonged use.
In isolated cases, hypersensitivity reactions (burning, tearing) were observed, which subsided after discontinuation of the preparation.
Please note that after the administration of the eye drops, a temporary blurring of the image may occur due to their stickiness. For the same reason, Hylo Dual Intense should not be used for wearing contact lenses.
The bottle contains 10 ml of solution, which is approximately 300 drops. For technical reasons, after taking the guaranteed amount of 300 drops, a small amount of solution remains in the bottle.
The period of application of Hylo-Dual Intense is not limited.
Do not store above 25˚C.
The product can be used for 6 months from the first opening.
Do not use after expiration date.
Keep out of the reach of children.
