Ingredients:
sunflower oil, vitamin D3;
Bioaron D - vitamin D - dietary food for special medical purposes for the dietary management of children and breastfed infants in the prevention of rickets and in the case of vitamin D deficiency.
Recommended dosage: content of 1 capsule daily, which corresponds to the recommended daily dose of vitamin D (10 µg = 400 IU)
Important information:
- the product is intended for infants and children,
- the product is taken under the supervision of a physician (medical consultation is especially important if the infant or child is fed with mother's milk, modified milk or receives vitamin D from another source),
- the product is not intended for parenteral use.
Composition:
capsule content: sunflower oil, vitamin D3;
capsule shell: gelatin, glycerol (humectant).
Vitamin D is needed for proper bone growth and development in children, for maintaining proper muscle function, and for the proper functioning of the immune system.
The amount of vitamin D in breast milk, which is the best food for infants, is insufficient, which is why its supplementation is so important.
Additional supplementation of this vitamin is extremely important in our climate zone, because the lack of adequate sunlight does not allow for sufficient synthesis of vitamin D in the body.
The daily dose of vitamin D is contained in one twist-off capsule, which can be given to babies from the first days of life (see dosage recommendation).
