Product description
The tradition of monastic herbs dates back to the fourth century. The Benedictine brothers were the first to spread the knowledge about the healing properties of the herbs among the faithful. They have made great contributions in this field. The Franciscan Order throughout the centuries have also educated many prominent herbalists. The high skills of the Franciscans were recognized in the twelfth century during their activities in the Holy Land, where they took care of shrines commemorating Bible events. The professionalism of herbalists, pharmacists and doctors in brown habits was then made famous all over the world. In Poland we have long traditions of herbal medicine. The most famous and valued herbalists of our Order are Father Andrzej Czeslaw Klimuszko and Father Grzegorz Sroka. Their achievements have always been a great inspiration to me. I studied their publications with enthusiasm and analysed their progress. My passion and enthusiasm for phytotherapy has been going on for many years. I am educated and cooperate with eminent specialists from scientific centers all over Poland. I want to continue the work of my outstanding predecessors and promote a healthy life-style. In the rooms where once a carpentry and lock smoke house I created the St. Herbarium. Francis. It was dedicated on August 15, 2007 by the Provincial of Ezra Biesoka, in the presence of invited guests. You can not only get a variety of herbs, herbal mixtures and teas. We have created a unique climate here. In the beautiful interior there are many people enjoying our tea and conversation with the sounds of atmospheric music. They have the opportunity to calm down, to break away from the hustle and bustle of the heart, to find a moment to meditate. We want to find peace and joy in this place.
