Cebion 30ml / 1.01oz is Vitamin C in Drops for Children
Indications:
for the prevention and treatment of vitamin C deficiency in cases where proper diet is not enough. Composition: 1ml (approx. 20 drops) of solution contains 100mg ascorbic acid (vitamin C); the other ingredient is: glycerol 87%. Action: ascorbic acid (vitamin C), a substance necessary for humans. Vitamin C participates in many enzymatic reactions (among others collagen synthesis, catecholamine synthesis, hydroxylation of steroids, tyrosine and exogenous substances), increases the absorption of iron salts, inhibits free radical chain reactions. Its antioxidant activity is in close biochemical relationship with the antioxidant effect of vitamin E, vitamin A and carotenoids.
Dosage:
orally;- infants from the 28th day of life and children up to the end of the 23rd month: 5-8 drops per day; preferably by adding drops to a bottle or a tablespoon of milk, tea, juice.- children from 24 months to 11 years old: 10 drops per day;- children from 12 years of age and adults: 15-20 drops per day.If the need is greater, the doses can be taken twice a day.
Contraindications: hypersensitivity to ascorbic acid or any of the excipients
