Horsetail contains the most easily absorbable silica among medicinal plants, as well as iron, manganese, cobalt, potassium, calcium and phosphorus salts. It is the silicon compounds that have such a beneficial effect on the young appearance of our skin, hair and nails. Horsetail also contains vitamin C and organic acids (silicic, malic, ascorbic, oxalic).
